Blessings from the Bread of Life

As we walk with Jesus, we need physical, as well as, spiritual food to keep going.  When Jesus fed the 5,000, He took only five barley loaves of bread and two small fish.  He gave thanks and then all were fed with twelve baskets left over! (John 6:1-14)

We discover that once we give what little we have to the Lord, He is in charge of producing the miracle of multiplication.  The little lad who gave all of his lunch had no idea how Jesus would use it!  He gave what he could and that was all he needed to do.  The miracle to be born was in Jesus’ hands!

When we give our lives to Jesus, he will work through us to bless others.  Jesus will work to multiply his love in our hearts when we take that step of faith.

Nothing is impossible with God!  He can take the smallest act of kindness to feed the souls of the multitude! (Luke 1:37)

Jesus is the Bread of Life and He calls us to be fishers of men!  (John 6:48, Matthew 4:19)
